In an effort to redefine beauty in the media (one of the learning objectives from the Full of Ourselves empowerment curriculum), the seventh graders created compelling public service announcements using Keynote and iMovie to elucidate the impact media can have on young people. Teacher Susan Deemer writes, "Inspired by the work of John Galayda from our Development Office, the girls invited John to come to our classroom to demonstrate how he uses Keynote to create dynamic visual presentations. The girls then used what they learned to create their own 2-to-3-minute presentations and set them to a music track of their choice."
